Fall Missions Project … Build – a – Bed

This year, Family Ministry will be partnering with an orphan care ministry called “Sweet Sleep”. Their mission is to share God’s love and hope in Christ to the world’s orphaned and vulnerable children, improving their quality of life. Their mission is based on Matthew 11:28: “Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Sweet Sleep provides children with a bed, blanket, papyrus mat, mosquito net, and a Bible in their native language. Each kit costs $70.00. Our goal is to collect enough money to provide bed kits for 50 kids….so, $3,500.00.  The beds we are able to purchase will go directly to kids in the city of Gulu in Uganda.

On Sunday, October 5^th, your children/teens will have the opportunity to take a “Build-A-Bed” collection box home with them to start saving money to bring in as we work our way towards $3,500.00.
